H.E. Mrs. Ildjima Badda Mallot is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chad to India. She was appointed on 14 February 2025 and presented her credentials to President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 30 May 2025.
An agro-economist by training, Mallot has built a career across diplomacy, international cooperation, development planning and public administration. Earlier in her career, she served as Deputy Director-General of International Cooperation and later as Deputy Director-General of Public Investments. She subsequently held senior leadership positions in Chad’s foreign-policy establishment, including Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad. In 2023, she also served as Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Reconciliation and Social Cohesion, contributing to reconciliation and social cohesion efforts.
Her academic background includes training in agricultural engineering and rural economics at the National School of Agronomy in Thiès, Senegal. As Ambassador in New Delhi, she represents Chad in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation with India.
